My First Game Jam: Day 2

Hey jammers! We hope you’re getting into the swing of things and starting to break in those dev logs.

Check out the dev logs on the jam community! We’re so excited about the really cool games and ideas being posted as well as the feedback jammers are giving. It’s not too late to start your own dev log thread to keep track of your progress and get feedback!

In addition, we’ve got some programs to help you record gifs!

ScreenToGif has lots of helpful features for editing and exporting your gifs. (note: If your screen dpi scale is odd though, it might record a different region of your screen than you intended.)

GifCam has a lot of useful features for editing and compressing your gif files.

LICEcap is a very simple gif recording program.

If you have photoshop (save for web or ctrl + shift + alt + s) or gimp, you can compress your gifs further by saving out of them.

We’re also pretty excited about this lovely article shoutout. :9 Thank you!
